Technical processing
The website runs on the BWM server hosted by Hetzner in Germany and is delivered through Cloudflare. Access involves processing connection data needed to deliver and secure the website. Web server access logs include the IP address, time, requested address, response status and browser identification.
Anonymous page statistics
We count anonymous page views with self-hosted Matomo, without cookies or visitor identifiers. URL parameters, IP addresses and browser characteristics are not forwarded to Matomo. These statistics cannot identify people, origins or returning visitors. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are respected. You can disable counting here; your choice is stored only in your browser.
Display preferences
When you switch between light and dark mode, your browser stores the choice locally under vx-theme. This setting is not sent to the server. You can delete it through your browser’s website data settings. Dark mode is the default.
